Haweswalton Aye Buster at Olton

How we started

"OLTON" from Olton Cottage our then home in Yardley Birmingham

Sophie (Solo Highland Princess) came into our home 35 years ago and changed the course of our lives.

Robert read a book which revealed that WHWTs should be hand-stripped - whatever that meant! We sought advice.

Mary Greening (TOLLCROSS) and Mrs. Estcourt (ESTCOSS), were approached. Unfortunately the advice they gave was "show her" - so we did!. Judy Averis (SAREDON) gave her Best Puppy and Best of Breed so the following 35 years was their fault!

Madelin Brownridge (MACHYLAN) gave further advice "show her, she may not win, but you will have lots of fun and she MIGHT breed you something nice".

Ch. Glenalwyne Sonny Boy seemed to be a good bet as a sire, unfortunately the resulting litter was not much better than the dam.

Hooked on showing we set out to buy!  Doris Parr (ARNHOLME) offered us Arnholme Aye One. So, dear reader, we bought him.
